Training
I always looked forward to my training
sessions its been 75 days and trust me
each day is still exciting with prahlladh.
I always have a great workout . with him
and he has helped me to lose 12 % body
fat in just 10 weeks , I feel bigger and
stronger than I ever thought was possible.
I had found it extremely difficult to
workout in the starting but my trainer
seems to be able to push me that extra
bit that I needed to get the result I
was looking for .

Before I started going to 1 ON 1, I had
been going to another gym regularly but

As a working girl living in Chennai, it was a task to try to maintain a 'healthy' work life - personal life 'balance'. The daily see-saw comprised of monthly targets, market volatility and the wear and tear caused by - stress and pollution. The free time one gets is spent catching up on sleep, family, friends, movies and personal errands. And of course indulgence in the ever tempting world of high calorie but lip smacking fast foods and desserts. Time kept passing, and with every month also came additional inches and kilos!!
Then, my encounter with 1 ON 1 occurred. And then, my life changed.
I was quite primitive in my knowledge about fitness, diets and exercise programs. I joined 1 ON 1 weighing 51kgs and having 'problem areas'. I was not fat, but certainly not fit. I wanted a gym and a trainer to understand my routine, my lifestyle, my body and help me lose weight as well as sustain it.

In my very first meeting, I was convinced we were at a completely different league of expertise and a fitness center built with a concept of being more client-focused and specific. After completing 2 months I have not only crossed my target of losing 7 Kgs, but there is also a feel good factor that my body has become stronger than it has ever been. When you really start seeing significant results there is a higher level of confidence and involvement with the fitness center and I move my schedule such that I do not miss a single workout.
I must mention that Prahlladh is a thorough professional and really takes his job as a personal trainer to the core. It is difficult not to catch his enthusiasm and his involvement with the client's goal is the ultimate. He really makes you believe that the results can and will be achieved.

After a very long break in my fitness regime, I came across a magazine ad about 1 ON 1 fitness studio. The ad stood out and encouraged me to take a look at http://www.1on1fitnessstudio.com/. The web site, like the ad, looked great. I promptly filled in the enquiry form. Surprisingly, I got a response very quickly requesting me to visit the studio.
Visited the studio and had a chat with the owner/personal trainer. The atmosphere and interaction looked refreshingly different from other gyms. Most of the times, you don't feel like you are actually working out in a fitness studio, but at your own home. There aren't too many around you when you work out and you have the flexibility of choosing your own time especially on 'cardio days'.
The personal training schedule is prepared after a discussion. If one sticks to it, there is no reason why one wouldn't achieve his/her personal goals. I am not the one who generally sticks to routines.
Surprisingly, the schedule worked out for me and helped me to shed a few kilos. When it works for me, there is every reason it would work for others. I find 1 ON 1 fitness studio a great and unique place for physical training.

I was in the throes of a significant transition when I chanced upon 1 on 1. I had just moved back to Chennai after living in the West for 8 years. Needless to say, the readjustment process was tumultuous, even though my career prospects were bright. It was an incredible challenge to cope with the traffic, weather, irregular hours and largely unhealthy food. Having adapted to life in the West with its facility and systemic nature, I was finding my new life both tedious and uncomfortable. This discomfort was compounded by the drastic change in my social surroundings, both in my work and non-work life.
It was at this stage that I embarked upon a journey that took me through several memberships in several well-known gyms across the city. I was making a concerted effort to get fit as well as accustom myself to my new surroundings. Unfortunately, none of the experiences left me feeling any better, as parking problems, intolerable noise, poor personal training and unhygienic surroundings served to systematically decimate any possible benefit that I hoped to derive.
It was at this juncture, that I met Prahlladh who took me through his approach on fitness, hygiene, ambience and spirituality at 1 ON 1. I was immediately struck by his clear cut vision and attention to detail. It was upon the commencement of my program that I felt a sense of direction as well as a steady sense of spiritual fulfillment. "If someone is serious about his fitness, Prahlladh is the right man to be with". This is because he will make your targets his own mission, and make sure that you achieve them. Secondly, he is a very warm guy and incredibly accessible as well. Besides the geography, it feels like my own gym at home. He is well equipped with knowledge of the human anatomy. The whole experience of working out is an entertaining one and not stressful whatsoever. Genuinely interested in people, a best friend material, a good trainer, and a great place.
